Some photos taken from the event!
This is a family, friendly remembrance event celebration of the living honoring loved ones that have passed on. It's a magical, emotional, joyous chance to reconnect with and remember loved ones as we share in the LOVE and GRIEF of family and friends who have departed.
Living in New Mexico we get to see cultures meld together, where both modern celebrations and century old traditions they intertwine. Celebrating Día De Los Muertos we get to honor our ancestors, our culture, and those who have to before us. A new Mexican Día de Los Muertos has managed to merge with All Saints Day and All Souls Day. As we celebrate it we have adopted it; recognized it; and accepted it as a continuum of life/death/rebirth "The Circle of Life." We have activities planned to honor your personal growth and healing as we honor our loved ones. Together we Hope, Heal, and Grow.
Come join the festivities! Beautiful altars/ofrendas (bring your loved ones pictures for the altar), Music - storytelling, Art activities (sugar skull decorating, face painting, flower making, costume contest of Día de Los Muertos Icons).
