The Gather and Grow Series is a key initiative of The Auntie Tillie Foundation. At our foundation, we believe that alongside a strong faith, five essential areas can help individuals grow positively and achieve upward mobility, creating more opportunities for themselves and their families. This is why the Gather and Grow Series focuses on topics inspired by our five core values. We believe that gathering in person, away from the distractions of social media, in a purposeful, physical meeting space offers significant benefits to all participants.
Participants will learn the foundations of Curanderismo and how to help their families heal from the traumas of our world with open heartedness and limpias (traditional spiritual cleansing). We ask participants to bring pictures of any family members in need that aren’t present. We also encourage you to bring any healing tools they may already have and use: holy water, flowers, rosemary, mint, lemons, limes, copal, sage, sweet grass, cedar.
