Auntie Tillie was an encouraging, amicable, and respected woman who made the most out of every opportunity that came her way. She also helped influence and empower other women through her own resilience and perseverance. Auntie Tillie did her best to ensure all women were aware of opportunities in their community. 

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering all generations of New Mexico and providing them with knowledge and growth opportunities. The Auntie Tillie Foundation is made up of family and close friends of Tillie Garcia. We were inspired to create this foundation in lieu of the passing of Tillie. Many knew her as "Auntie Tillie," which influenced the name of the foundation.
